Do I have to pay income tax on my Social Security Benefits?
Social Security benefits are taxable if your total income is more than $25,000 for an individual or $32,000 for a joint return.
If I continue to work will my Social Security benefits be affected?
If you reach your full retirement age your social security benefits will not be effected however, if you collect your benefits before full retirement age your benefits will be reduced by $1 for every $2 you earn above your annual limit. The annual limit for 2010 is $14,160.
